Iain Ward, Operations Manager at CPB Contractors (formerly Leighton Contractors) has more than 20 years industry experience developing and delivering projects across a range of sectors including oil and gas, infrastructure and rail. His knowledge and experience has been gained through leading teams in diverse operating environments throughout Australia.
Vice President & Treasurer
Based in Australia since 2010 Fernando is the Regional Director of ACCIONA Infrastructure Australia (incl. Construction, Agua & Services). A professional with over 17 years experience in all stages of large construction projects, Fernando has a proven capacity of managing major infrastructure projects, including tunnel projects, high speed rail and road works in Europe and more recently the $1.4b Legacy Way Tunnel project in Brisbane.
Fernando worked as Project Director for Transcity (a joint venture comprised of ACCIONA, Italian tunnelling company Ghella and Brisbane based BMD Constructions) since 2011 to May 2014 and continues to serve as Chairman on its Executive Committee. He has extensive technical and leadership skills, developing innovative solutions to deliver projects successfully. Fernando has the ability to collaborate with project partners, having been a part of leadership teams on many international joint ventures and consortiums, with successful outcomes recently experienced on major projects in Australia.
Tim is the National Engineering Manager for Fulton Hogan Construction. He is a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers Australia. He has more than thirty years of industry experience in the delivery of a wide range of civil engineering infrastructure in Queensland and NSW.
Bruce was formerly the Chief Operating Officer at VicRoads where he spent more than 40 years and pioneered the use of alliances in Victoria with the delivery of the Tullamarine Calder Freeway Interchange. Bruce has also held senior positions at the Victorian Department of Infrastructure and Laing O’Rourke and he has extensive knowledge of government processes and commercial drivers in the private sector.
Harry Hartman is the Queensland Manager for McConnell Dowell. He moved to Australia in 2005 and worked since as a GM for various Tier 1 Construction Companies in Brisbane. Before that he had a senior role with BAM for 16 years working overseas on various projects these includes jetties, power plants, airports and infrastructure. Most recent experience was the completion of the $1.2bn Gold Coast Light Rail project as the Project Director.
Daniel is the Pre-Contracts Manager for John Holland in Queensland and the Northern Territory. He has more than 16 years of broad experience in numerous markets in QLD and the Northern Territory.
Ivor Peries is a past-President of the Queensland Major Contractor’s Association. Ivor is Technical Director for Infrastructure at Clough and has over 32 years industry experience from a strong multidiscipline background, in both Government and private sectors for Tier 1 contractors. He has areas of expertise in the oil and gas and resource sectors including process plants, pipelines and heavy civil infrastructure.Internationally, Ivor has held Operations and Country Manager roles for Clough in Thailand and Papua New Guinea primarily involved in petrochemical, LNG and mining infrastructure.
Tony Perkovic, National Business Development and Bid Manager at Seymour Whyte has more than 25 years of major project infrastructure experience. He has a background leading large-scale greenfield and brownfield projects across Australia and internationally and has significant experience at senior management level driving strategic planning.
Having commenced his career as a Site Engineer with BMD Constructions more than 20 years ago, Scott has a thorough understanding of the urban development, construction and infrastructure delivery industries. Prior to his appointment as Group Executive Director – Operations in 2009, Scott performed roles across all BMD companies including Project Manager, Constructions Manager and General Manager for BMD Constructions (NSW) and Urbex.
Dan heads up the Commercial and Risk function for Lendlease Engineering’s operations across Queensland and NT. He holds more than 25 years’ experience across business unit leadership and major project conversion & delivery in the Transportation, Mining, Oil & Gas, Water, Power Generation, and heavy civil engineering sector across Australia, Asia, and Europe.
Minter Ellison - Probity Lawyer
Michael is a partner with Minter Ellison Lawyers with over 24 years experience in the engineering and construction industry, including 8 years as a practicing civil engineer both in Australia and the UK. He specialises in major construction, engineering and infrastructure projects across a broad range of industry sectors, and is involved in various industry organisations.
Chief Executive Officer
Lorelei Broadbent is a specialist provider of Association Management services and has spent her entire career working with over 100 Associations to improve all aspects of their administration, management and events. She has an Associate Diploma of Business (Management) and a Certificate in Association Management. She is the co-founder and Director of Agenda Management.
