Report to Highlight Queensland’s Future Development

On 24 May, Queensland Major Contractors Association, Infrastructure Association Queensland and Construction Skills Queensland will be launching the 2018 Queensland Major Projects Pipeline Report at Brisbane’s City Hall.

Outlining the multi-billion-dollar projects that are shaping the future of our state, the report gives insights into the sector’s strength, health and prospects as we compete for talent, skills and funding with the rest of the nation.

QMCA President, Peter Anusas, encouraged members and the wider construction sector to become involved in the event, “The release of this report is a significant milestone for our industry as we look to plan, scale and manage our continuing investment in people, projects and equipment to meet the needs of Queensland’s ongoing and essential development.”

“Attendance is vital for anyone with an interest in the future development of our state and a desire to understand the market conditions that we will be operating in over the coming 12 months.”

With over 300 guests in attendance the event will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Graham Quirk, and the report will be presented by Adrian Hart, Associate Director, BIS Oxford.
