DESCRIPTION:Industry Breakfast – Queensland Water Infrastructure\n\nAccess to a safe and secure water supply is essential for the State’s economic growth and prosperity. \nIn a large and decentralised State\, with varying water demands and supply\, being able to provide water and wastewater treatment for communities and industry reliably is essential. From bulk water storage to transport (pipelines) to treatment into potable water and then waste treatment and recycling\, Queensland’s water network requires complex infrastructure. \nAcross the next decade\, significant investment will be made in water infrastructure and assets. On Thursday 27 May\, we will delve a little deeper into the full water cycle as part of our May Industry Breakfast. Joined by keynote speakers from Sunwater\, Bowen River Utilities and Urban Utilities\, you will have the opportunity to be briefed on the plans and projects that will shape the sector in the years ahead. \nJoin us at Victoria Park Function Centre\, Herston on Thursday 27 May at 7:00am and be part of the conversation.
