Blindsight

Aptella

Blindsight, developed by Presien, is an AI-powered safety solution designed to reduce high-risk people-plant interactions in construction and heavy plant operations.

Deployed by companies like BMD, Sydney Trains, and McConnell Dowell, it provides real-time detection and alerts, preventing accidents and improving safety. The system works across various machinery types and offers non-intrusive alerts, enhancing safety with minimal downtime.

By transforming safety management, Blindsight contributes to safer, more efficient work environments and sets a new standard for construction safety across industries.

Custom Integration

Fulton Hogan

Fulton Hogan collaborated with CivilPro to create an API integration between CivilPro’s quality management system and TMR’s mandated document management system, TeamBinder.

After over 10,000 development hours, the integration enables automated data synchronisation between the two systems, eliminating manual transfer processes. The solution reduces documentation time from 80 hours monthly to just 30 minutes, improving efficiency, accuracy, and data reliability.

This innovative, transferable solution benefits the broader industry by streamlining workflows and enhancing transparency, especially for TMR-compliant projects across Queensland.

Brisbane Metro Adelaide St Tunnel

ACCIONA

ACCIONA delivered an innovative tunnel beneath Adelaide Street, overcoming challenges of shallow cover, soft ground, and tight space.

Using the unique Trinocular and Binocular methods, they safely excavated two parallel tunnels with minimal settlement, reducing the risk to surrounding utilities and infrastructure. The approach avoided disruptive open-cut methods, protecting local businesses and Brisbane City Hall.

The project, powered by green energy and incorporating sustainable technologies, sets a new standard for tunnel excavation in sensitive environments, proving tunnelling can be both efficient and environmentally friendly.

Jack Up Pile Repair

Commercial Marine Group

Commercial Marine Group, in collaboration with its design partner FSACE, has introduced the innovative “jack-up pile replacement” solution.

Using in-situ sonic testing, this method assesses pile integrity non-destructively, eliminating the need for intrusive repairs. The jack-up solution efficiently replaces damaged piles below the seabed while maintaining operational use, minimising costs, risk, and environmental impact.

Successfully implemented at Ampol and Sims Wharf, this approach extends the lifespan of marine structures, ensuring long-term asset preservation and operational efficiency.
