Over the last 12 months, Queensland Major Contractors Association has been on a path of reinvention culminating in the release of our new brand identity launched at the QMCA Innovation and Excellence Awards.
Intended to be representative of the modern contracting industry, it is a brand that is reflective of the vibrant, diverse and dynamic association we aim to become.
But any brand is more than a logo, it is defined by action and experience. In the year ahead, we will be increasing our advocacy to represent the needs of the whole of our sector with every level of government and key industry stakeholders.
Our voice will be stronger than ever on the issues that matter to our members and every level of the contracting industry, as we champion projects, innovation, collaboration and investment in the infrastructure that Queensland needs.
We will be launching events, debates and summits in Brisbane and throughout Queensland to educate, inform and inspire our members. From the planned Collaborate to Innovate Summit, 2019 Major Project Pipeline Report, monthly events, regional tours and much more, QMCA will ensure that our members, associates and stakeholders are part of the move to drive improved performance, efficiency and capability within the contracting sector.
QMCA Chief Executive, Jon Davies, outlined the strategy behind the change “As an industry we are extremely diverse, representing a complete cross section of society and operating in every corner of the state. We are seeking to help support our sector as it innovates, embraces disruption and looks to find new ways to collaborate and drive change. Our new brand identity mirrors this strategic direction QMCA has embarked upon.”
