Postponed: 2020 Queensland Major Projects Pipeline Report (Toowoomba)

March 31 @ 7:00 am - 9:15 am

Regrettably, we have made the very difficult decision to postpone the Brisbane (and Toowoomba) launch events for the 2020 Queensland Major Projects Pipeline Report. due to public health concerns relating to Coronavirus COVID-19.

You are invited to the launch of the 2020 Queensland Major Projects Pipeline Report; the definitive guide to the major projects that will shape our State across the next five years.

Authored by BIS Oxford Economics, Queensland Major Contractors Association and Infrastructure Association of Queensland, the report is a mainstay of government policy, media commentary and influence, as we actively pursue and deliver the transformational projects that employ our people, connect our communities and drive the long term economic and social wellbeing of the State.

We are delighted to launch the 2020 report on 31 March at a gala breakfast in Toowoomba. For many years Toowoomba and The Surat Basin has been the unsung hero of the Queensland’s economic and infrastructure growth, underpinned by resources and agriculture, the region is poised to take advantage of significant investment in road, rail and aviation infrastructure. At the launch event you will hear first-hand about the pipeline of projects earmarked for the region and what they mean from a social and economic perspective.

You will also hear reasons to be optimistic about the future of our industry across Queensland as significant projects such as Inland Rail, Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3, Cross River Rail, Brisbane Metro and upgrades to the M1, Bruce Highway and essential water infrastructure developments begin in earnest.

On behalf of QMCA and IAQ, we look forward to welcoming you to the launch of the 2020 Queensland Major Projects Pipeline Report, where you can hear first-hand what the future pipeline of work means for our sector, your organisation and you.
