The QMCA Young Construction Professionals (YCP) Committee brings together a diverse group of emerging and established industry leaders who are passionate about shaping the future of Queensland’s construction and infrastructure sector. Representing a broad cross-section of disciplines including engineering, project delivery, sustainability, surveying, estimating, and workforce development, the committee is committed to fostering professional growth, industry collaboration, knowledge sharing, and greater engagement with the next generation of construction professionals. Through events, mentoring opportunities, industry advocacy, and professional development initiatives, the YCP Committee plays a vital role in strengthening the pipeline of talent that will deliver Queensland’s future infrastructure.


Cassandra Seebohm

YCP Committee

Cassandra Seebohm is a passionate civil engineer and emerging leader in major infrastructure delivery. With experience across transformational projects including the UU RTP Program, Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3 and Sydney Metro, she brings strong technical capability, a collaborative leadership style, and a drive for innovative, high‑quality outcomes. Cassandra is committed to mentoring early‑career engineers, championing safety and continuous improvement, and helping shape a more sustainable and future‑focused construction industry.


Chathra Pasdunkorale

YCP Committee

Chathra Pasdunkorale is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Estimator at Seymour Whyte, with over nine years’ experience across both site-based delivery and national precontracts. She currently supports major bids in Queensland and Western Australia, applying her expertise in civil works, traffic management, and value engineering.

Chathra began her career in site delivery, gaining hands-on experience on complex transport infrastructure projects including Brisbane Metro, the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway Upgrade, and the Caboolture–Bribie Island Road to Steve Irwin Way Upgrade. This foundation now informs her commercial insight and practical approach to precontracts. Chathra is a strong advocate for greater visibility for women in construction and is committed to fostering a more inclusive and progressive industry.


Emma Klint-Pedersen

YCP Committee

Emma Klint-Pedersen is an undergraduate civil engineer at McIlwain Civil Engineering, where she works across both precontracts and site teams. Her experience includes supporting tender submissions and EOIs, and gaining practical insight into how projects are planned, priced, and delivered.

Emma is also a Senior Trainer with Constructionarium Australia and Construction Skills Queensland’s (CSQ) Construct Her Future (CHF) program, where she supports and mentors high school girls through hands-on activities that build confidence and develop their understanding of the construction and engineering industry. She is passionate about supporting young professionals, improving access to industry for students, and bridging the gap between high school, university and practice.


Joel Martin

YCP Committee

Joel is a Managing Director at 4020 Consult and a proud founding member of YCP. After 20+ years consulting to the Infrastructure and Engineering sectors Joel retains his passion for delivering exceptional outcomes which directly influence client’s and collaborators success. His career has centred on connecting people and projects, his knack for identifying top Infrastructure and Engineering talent has helped optimise the delivery of major road, rail, resources and utilities projects throughout Australia.

Joel’s ability to develop enduring, mutually beneficial relationships has been the cornerstone of his success. His network and reputation are unmatched. He enjoys supporting his connections and the sector at large by volunteering his time to help lead Industry Associations and initiatives like IAQ, EPIQ, QMCA and Constructionarium. Joel is an authentic individual and honest communicator who positively impacts all the individuals, companies and projects he gets to work with.


Judy Green

YCP Committee

Judy Green is a Sustainability Advisor at Fulton Hogan Construction, working on major civil road projects across Queensland. She is passionate about creating practical, sustainable solutions that reduce environmental impact and support the transition to low-carbon infrastructure. Judy also champions Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and positive industry culture, believing that collaboration and inclusivity are key to driving innovation and long-term sustainability in construction.


Manav Kulshrestha

YCP Committee

Manav is an Electrical Site Engineer with Acciona, with over four years of experience delivering major infrastructure projects. He has spent the majority of his career on the Brisbane Metro project, working across a range of M&E scopes including Electrical, ITS, and Dry Fire Systems. His experience spans all key stages of construction, from tendering and procurement through to design, delivery, commissioning, and handover. Manav is passionate about professional development and industry engagement and is an active Committee Member of the Queensland Major Contractors Association (QMCA) Young Constructors Panel (YCP).


Thomas Britton

YCP Committee

Thomas Britton is a Senior Project Engineer at Webuild, bringing a strong blend of trade, site, and project delivery experience across major infrastructure and energy projects. With a background spanning early works, complex civil construction, and tender bid teams, Thomas is passionate about building capability within the next generation of construction professionals and supporting initiatives that strengthen industry connection, knowledge-sharing, and career development through programs like Young Construction Professionals (YCP).


Tom Mansfield

YCP Committee

Tom is the Brisbane Spatial Manager at Bennett + Bennett, where he applies strong technical, analytical and project management skills to lead a high performing survey team. Known for his strong field and office capabilities and his commitment to quality assurance and OHS systems, Tom ensures projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. He is also committed to pursuing and integrating cutting-edge spatial technologies, continually refining workflows and enhancing project outcomes


Yasmine Edlin

YCP Committee

Yasmine is a Civil Engineer with CPB Contractors spanning more than 15 years’ in the industry delivering major and minor infrastructure projects in multiple sectors across Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory. She has contributed to the successful delivery of complex works spanning transport, resources, water, and urban development. Her portfolio includes both largescale multidisciplinary projects such as Cross River Rail and smaller, technically focused civil works such as stabling yards, reflecting a broad capability across the project lifecycle. Her experience across varied environments has included managing diverse teams, navigating technical challenges, and driving efficient project outcomes to contribute to industry best practice.
