Join QMCA for the QMCA Young Construction Professionals launch event, an evening of networking, insight, and celebration among industry leaders and up-and-coming professionals as we cruise along the Brisbane River, exploring the city’s bridges in style.

Event Details:

• Date: Thursday, 8 February 2024
• Boarding Time: 6:00pm
• Disembark Time: 9:30pm
• Location: Howard Smith Wharves. The cruise will depart from the Howard Smith Wharves terminal. All registered guests will be sent email instructions before the event with the required boarding information.

What to Expect:

• Gourmet Canapes
• Drinks Package: beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options
• Networking and insights into bridge design, construction and legacy

Schedule:

• 6:30pm – YCP welcome & speech on the Story Bridge
• 7:15pm – Q&A session on the Eleanor Schonell Bridge
• 8:00pm – Interactive bridge discussion session with our major sponsor on an iconic Brisbane river structure

Tickets are $50 (+ GST) per person. Only 80 tickets are available for this first event, and we are limiting guests to site engineers, graduates, and undergraduates from QMCA member companies as we look to create a cohort and network of young professionals to support QMCA, our industry, advocacy, and initiatives. Future events will be open to a wider range of QMCA member roles and associate members, and we will be running several events through 2024.
