QMCA Breakfast Event

22 March 2019 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 am

QMCA City Deals Networking Breakfast – Special Event

QMCA has long advocated for City Deals and, in particular, the one that is taking shape for South-East Queensland.

A SEQ City Deal promises to be the glue that binds together overarching infrastructure and development strategies for one of Australia’s fastest growing and most interconnected regions. In essence, a City Deal will provide improved visibility around the planning and delivery of a pipeline of major projects that will underpin the needs of the population that call our region home, enabling all levels of Government to commit to a plan and funding for major projects.

Join QMCA and event partner, Robert Walters

, at our special City Deals breakfast event on Friday 22 March 2019 at 7.00am at the Victoria Park Function Centre where you will hear from our keynote speakers on the need for a City Deal and what investors look for when considering the financial opportunities for infrastructure investment.  From Queensland Treasury, Matt Collins, will discuss the need for a City Deal for South-East Queensland and from Cbus, Alex Miller, will talk about the role for super funds in major Queensland infrastructure projects.

This special event is not to be missed and will provide significant insight into the potential opportunities and benefits associated with securing a City Deal for the region and for businesses within the contracting, construction and development sectors.
