QMCA Water Breakfast
Water security is a subject of concern for Government and residents as we grapple with supply and demand to ensure that businesses and consumers have access to clean, safe water when and where it is needed.
With a growing population and industrial development, how we manage our water resources now and into the future will require long-term strategic thinking, investment and action to renew assets and build networks to ensure that demand doesn’t outstrip demand. And that is before we factor in the variable climate that determines how much water enters catchments. Equally there is a requirement to upgrade our dams from a safety perspective that requires significant investment over the next 10-15 years.
So, what is the long-term strategy for infrastructure investment in Queensland’s bulk water assets? Join QMCA for our October breakfast, where our keynote speakers from SunWater and SEQ Water will outline future plans for building the network, ensuring supply and upgrading assets, including dams across the State.
