Hydrogen is touted as the next big energy export for Queensland. With the sector set to rapidly develop based on a growing market, government funding and increased commercial opportunities it has the potential to be as important as the CSG-LNG industry. However, to deliver these hydrogen export plans large scale industrial plants, pipelines and associated infrastructure are required, which will be reliant on the engineering and construction sector in Queensland.
QMCA, in partnership with Clough, invite you to our March breakfast where you will hear from industry leaders about the future of hydrogen in Queensland and the infrastructure required to take advantage of the rapidly growing industry.
Joining us will be keynote speakers from Phil Richardson, General Manager New Energy Projects at Stanwell Corporation, Alana Barlow National Hydrogen Commercialisation Manager at Sumitomo Corporation and Clough who will outline the market, engineering requirements, skills, resources and investment needed to transform hydrogen into a long term and sustainable industry for Queensland.
(All attendees are required to be fully-vaccinated to attend the function and guests will be required to use the Check-in App on arrival.)
