Queensland has long been a powerhouse for Australia’s global resources industry as we have utilised the State’s natural resources to support economic growth and to underpin the State’s finances.
Traditionally dominated by coal, gas, base metals and bauxite, global demand is shifting as new resources are required to support the global transition to renewable energy and the new products required to support and sustain the transition.
And that means infrastructure will be required to support the extraction, transportation, processing and utilisation of the resources that will support a changing industry.
