QMCA Orange Logomark

Industry comes together for Construction’s Big Night Out

Over 450 guests came together at the Royal Exhibition and Conference Centre yesterday evening to help raise over $100,000 for local charity, Smart Pups.

With entertainment from radio and TV start Lehmo, the QMCA sponsored event promised to entertain and did just that all in the name of this very worthwhile cause.

QMCA President, Peter Anusas, reflected on the evening, “We all know that as an industry we are like no other when it comes to rallying round in the name of a good cause, so it was truly pleasing to see the great and the good from construction out in force.”

“As a sector, we help build the nation, we connect communities and make long lasting change and Constructions Big Night Out is part of that philosophy, as the money raised will help provide priceless support, partnership and friendship through the relationship between pets and children with special needs.”

“I’ve seen how Smart Pups make a genuine difference to the children fortunate enough to be part of the program and we hope, that in a small way, we can help more and more Queenslanders take advantage of this life changing program.”
