VSL is a Specialist Engineering Contractor in post-tensioned and cable-stayed structures, foundations, and ground engineering. Established in Switzerland in 1950 and now operating at a global scale. VSL Australia has a long and respected history in Australia and New Zealand, established in 1966.

Today, VSL Australia employs over 200 employees and contributes to the design and construction of major engineered structures and maintains, repairs, and upgrades all structural systems that guarantee safety and durability and is divided into four domains of expertise:

Technologies: We offer post-tensioning, stay-cable, and other structural systems & technologies that are key for the strength, safety, performance, and the durability of structures.

Civil Works: We help our clients to the design, construction of engineered structures such as bridge decks, containment structures for tanks, nuclear powerplant, wind towers and heavy lifting.

Ground engineering & foundations: We get involved in all the geotechnical processes of a construction project including ground investigation and analysis; improvement and reinforcement of soils; retaining structures; deep foundations.

Asset preservation, structural repairs, and upgrade: We offer tailored services to suit any structure’s life cycle, from inspections and assessment through to repair works and upgrading.
