General

Membership is at the absolute and total discretion of the Queensland Major Contractors Association (QMCA) Board.
The Member agrees to indemnity the QMCA, its officers, employees and agents in respect of:
- any representation or statement, made or attributed to the Member or an officer, employee or agent of the Member:
  - on the public pages or members’ section of the QMCA website; or
  - published in relation to its membership to QMCA and the services provided by QMCA; or
- any transaction (actual or proposed) involving the Member or an officer, employee or agent of the Member, and any third party in relation to its membership of the QMCA.
The QMCA is bound by the National Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of personal information it collects or handles. Details of the QMCA’s public privacy policy may be obtained from the QMCA website (qmca.com.au). If applicable, financial information disclosed by a Member to the QMCA will be used only for the purposes of effecting the transaction to which it relates and will be kept securely until legally able to be deleted.
The Member must promptly notify the QMCA, in writing, of changes to its legal name, registered address or billing address or contact details.

Membership Fees

The Member agrees to promptly pay the annual membership fee and all other charges properly invoiced.
Membership fees are payable each financial year.
The QMCA does not refund or reimburse any portion of the membership fee under any circumstances.

QMCA Board and Working Groups

General membership (Executive) entitles a representative of the Member to nominate for the QMCA Board
Unless as otherwise approved by the QMCA Board, General membership entitles a representative of the Member be co-opted to QMCA Working Groups.
Membership entitles representatives of the Member to attend QMCA events at reduced member rates.
