QMCA has reiterated its support for Constructionarium Australia, cementing its position as a foundation supporter of the innovative training program.
CEO Andrew Chapman “Constructionarium Australia is a unique program that provides emerging infrastructure and engineering professionals with the opportunity to put their learning and skills to the test as the deliver a construction project from tender to client handover. Over the past three years, we have been delighted to support the initiative. We are looking forward to the next year of our partnership which will see Constructionarium Australia deliver training to 100 emerging industry professionals.”
“QMCA is delighted with how our sector has supported the program and the involvement that our members have had in Constructionarium Australia. Seymour Whyte, BMD, Fulton Hogan, and Bielby have all led builds. Associate members Aecom, Bluescope, Coates Hire, Dial Before You Dig, E7, GHD, GRC, Madsen Giersing, SMEC, Struber, Vortex Group, have all supported the initiative through their expertise and participation of team members.”
“The feedback from participants shows the value of the program, and I would encourage as many members as possible to involve their high potential talent in an upcoming build. With four more builds scheduled for the year ahead, including an all-female Eleanor Schonell Bridge build, there is a fantastic opportunity for our sector to invest their time and resources into supporting a program that will ensure our talented young professionals gain real-world skills delivering a project.”
“With exciting new builds planned such as a small scale pumped hydro system, Constructionarium is preparing the Engineering & construction employees of the future with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed and continue to lead the development of critical economic infrastructure for society.”
Constructionarium Australia Executive Director, Harry Hartman, welcomed QMCA’s ongoing support, “We cannot thank QMCA enough for their support. As foundation partners, the association has been with us since day one. QMCA has helped Constructionarium Australia to grow, develop new builds and access talent within their member organisations, without whom we would not be able to continue to provide emerging professionals with access to a high-value learning experience.”
“On behalf of everyone at Constructionarium Australia, we would like to thank Andrew and the QMCA Board for their continued support. The passion that they have for ensuring that the sector’s top young talent can be part of a unique program supporting the long-term success of the industry is a credit to them.”
